POI staff contributed to the design of the HIV SNPs, provided consultation in the programming logic to identify HIV-infected individuals in claims history files through the application of the HIV coding algorithm, risk adjustment for sub-populations of covered beneficiaries, rate setting support, enrollment and disenrollment procedures, draft sections of the RFP, rate-setting support, draft quality assurance and performance measures, and a draft evaluation plan. POI staff reviewed and commented on SAS programs written by SDOH staff and prepared reports using MS Graph Chart and PowerPoint.
