 Some examples from our portfolio:

POI staff has over a decade of experience in the design and development of active surveillance programs for reportable conditions such as HIV, AIDS, and West Nile Virus. POI staff has been responsible for managing active surveillance programs, as well as advising CDC, State, and local government agencies in the design and evaluation of these programs. A recent example includes:

  • Staffing the workgroup for planning West Nile Virus prevention, surveillance, and control activities in Montgomery County Maryland
  • Design and application of a diagnostic and therapeutic coding net to identify HIV infected Medicaid beneficiaries in California, District of Columbia, Florida, Maryland, and New York
