POI staff has over a decade of experience in the design and development of
active surveillance programs for reportable conditions such as HIV, AIDS, and
West Nile Virus. POI staff has been responsible for managing active
surveillance programs, as well as advising CDC, State, and local government
agencies in the design and evaluation of these programs. A recent example
