POI staff has conducted numerous TA and capacity building activities throughout
the US. Recipients of TA and capacity building include the staff of individual
agencies, groups of agencies in a community, local and State government
officials, and community planning bodies. Some recent examples include:

POI staff conducted a web-enabled national workshop funded by the HRSA
Center for Health Services Financing and Managed Care regarding methods for
maximizing accounts receivable among HRSA-funded clinics

POI staff conducted workshops funded by the HRSA Managed Care and Health
Services Financing Technical Assistance Center for HIV clinical and
psychosocial support agencies in Illinois regarding current topics in financing
and managed care

Numerous care providers throughout the US have received TA regarding various
aspects of participation in the Medicaid program, reimbursement issues, and
payer of last resort issues

HIV clinics and psychosocial support agencies in Broward County Florida and the
Greater Baltimore area of Maryland received intensive on-site TA and capacity
development

Title I, Ryan White CARE Act Planning Councils have received training from POI
staff regarding measurement of outcomes and other performance
indicators
